ROSALIND KERVEN is an expert in world myths and legends, which she has been collecting and retelling for over thirty years.  With an academic background in anthropology, she has thousands of stories on file, from many different countries and cultures.


Rosalind has written over sixty books, highly acclaimed by reviewers and published in twenty-two countries. She has worked for publishers such as the British Museum, British Library, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, the National Trust, Pearson and Dorling Kindersley, as well as her own small imprint, Talking Stone.  

She regularly presents papers to the Folklore Society and has contributed a number of articles to Gramarye, the journal of the Sussex Centre for Folklore, Fairy Tales and Fantasy at Chichester University.
